Rustic Road 67

Winding through Barron and Polk counties, R-67 forms a scenic 4.6-mile loop along portions of Pine Street, West Town Line Road, Barron-Polk Street, and 16th Avenue, connecting US 8 to US 63. This route offers a mix of paved and unpaved stretches, making for a true rustic adventure.
Travelers will pass through dense woods, open fields, and peaceful wetlands, with plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife and seasonal wildflowers. One of the highlights is Skinaway Lake, a 37-acre body of water with a maximum depth of 10 feet, home to panfish and largemouth bass. Nearby, Skinaway Park provides a perfect spot to take a break, enjoy the scenery, and soak in the quiet beauty of northwestern Wisconsin’s countryside.
