Rustic Road 16

Rustic Road 16, also known as Sandy Bay Road, is a 5.2-mile paved scenic drive in Manitowoc County that winds through Point Beach State Forest along Lake Michigan.

Lined with lush groves of hardwoods and conifers, the route offers peaceful vibes, glimpses of wildlife, and stunning views of natural sand dunes. Juniper bushes and unique coastal shrubbery dot the landscape, making this a mellow, tree-canopied cruise perfect for a slow roll with the windows down.
