Dyreson House

Tucked along Dyreson Road, the Dyreson House is a classic mid‑19th‑century Gabled‑Ell farmhouse clad in clapboard, part of a fully intact historic farmstead. This preserved slice of rural Wisconsin history includes original outbuildings—a rarity in the region. The house remains on the Wisconsin Historical Society’s inventory as a noteworthy example of vernacular farmhouse architecture. Wandering the grounds, you can almost feel the rhythms of pioneer life: fields tilled, barns echoing, and generations rooted in that land. It’s a mellow time capsule—perfect for history buffs, architecture lovers, or anyone craving a lived-in connection to old-school Wisconsin.
