Epic Adventure Awaits in Verona, Wisconsin!
For my birthday, I went with Jessica to see the headquarters of Epic which is in Verona, WI about 11 miles SW of Madison. The place is one of the best mind boggling adventures you can have in Wisconsin and it’s all free, but you do need to make an appointment.
Epic is a massive software company with thousands of employees. To recruit the best software developers in the world, they created a magical work space to encourage creativity.
The business is located on over 600 acres and includes 6 different campuses: the Prairie, Central Park, Farm, Learning, Wizards Academy, and Storybook. Each campus has a theme. Storybook has Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, etc,
There are countless sculptures and art works. I could have showed you hundreds of photos, but go see this fantastic place yourself. It would seem impossible to see it in one day and we only scratched the surface. The place is a work space, and employees roam the hallways with bluetooth earbuds and laptops, lounge on beanbag chairs while on calls with clients, and conduct business meetings in the Gingerbread House, so visit with respect.
