White River Marsh Wildlife Area

White River Marsh Wildlife Area sprawls across 12,000 acres in the northwest corner of Green Lake County and northeast Marquette County. Just 6 miles north of Princeton (off County D) or 3 miles west of Berlin (off County F), this wild gem features open marshes, wet meadows, tamarack swamps, upland prairies, oak savannas, and shrub-carr — basically, a buffet of natural Wisconsin goodness.
It’s a hotspot for hunters chasing waterfowl, pheasant, deer, and small game, but the mellow crowd comes here too—for hiking, foraging, birdwatching, or floating through peaceful wetlands by canoe or kayak. It’s pure, untouched stoner sanctuary.
