Tucked away northwest of Holmen, this mellow 2.7-mile loop (R-64) cruises along Amsterdam Prairie Road and Old 93 Road, right near the Van Loon Wildlife Area — a perfect spot for nature-loving stoners who dig a little history on their adventures.

Not only do you get wide-open prairie vibes and scenic views, but you can also hop off and walk McGilvray Road, aka 7-Bridges Road, a historic path featuring seven rare bowstring-arch bridges — like something out of a stoner daydream.

Plus, you’re just a mile south of the Wisconsin Great River Road, for even more chill river valley views and potential side quests.
