Rustic Road 34

Located in Northeast Wisconsin’s Forest County, Rustic Road 34 begins in the village of Alvin and follows parts of Lakeview Drive, Carey Dam Road, and Fishel Road before connecting to WIS 70 along the scenic Nicolet-Wolf River Byway.

Stretching 8.8 miles with both paved and unpaved portions, this route winds through the beautiful Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Along the way, you’ll pass through a 50-year-old pine plantation and dense woodlands filled with wildlife. Whether you’re into hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, or snowmobiling, R-34 offers easy access to a variety of outdoor adventures, making it a great escape into nature.
