Timm's Hill

If you’re looking to get as high as possible in Wisconsin—elevation-wise, of course—then Rustic Road 62 is the road for you. This short but scenic stretch winds through one of my favorite areas in the state, leading you straight to Timms Hill, the highest natural point in Wisconsin at 1,951.5 feet. The views from the observation tower at Timms Hill County Park are nothing short of breathtaking, making the climb absolutely worth it.
At this picturesque park, you can ascend the observation tower for breathtaking 30-mile views of the expansive Northwoods and surrounding Bass Lake, nestled 160 feet below.
