Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum

The Laura Ingalls Wilder Memorial Society, Inc., was officially organized in July of 1974.

Through the generosity of the Pepin business community and the landowner the Society was fortunate to be able to acquire three acres of land at the original site of Laura’s birth.

​The Museum is open 10 AM – 5 PM daily ​from May 1 through October 31. We are not currently open during the winter hiatus, however, the Museum and Gift Shop will reopen for the new season on May 1, 2025.
