Rustic Road 6

Located in Northwest Wisconsin’s Chippewa County, R-6 follows County E from the junction of WIS 64 north to the Chippewa-Rusk County line, stretching 13.1 miles of smooth pavement.
Once part of the historic Flambeau Trail, this route was a key path for early settlers making their way north. Today, it winds through scenic county forest lands and passes through a section of the Ice Age National Scientific Reserve, offering travelers a glimpse into Wisconsin’s natural history.
