Rustic Road 76

Cruise through Clark County on this 9-mile unpaved route, weaving along Columbia Avenue, Middle Road, Fisher Avenue, Sand Road, and Bruce Mound Avenue between US 10 and County B in the town of Hewett. This ride takes you deep into the Clark County Forest, where you might catch glimpses of deer, sandhill cranes, wild turkeys, and even a bald eagle.

On Middle Road, an abandoned trestle bridge over Wedges Creek now serves as a scenic spot for adventurers.

At the south end, along Fisher Road, you’ll find the “Lone Grave Marker,” the only remaining sign of the lost 1880s community of Columbia.
