Rustic Road 100

Winding through the wild beauty of Iron County, Wisconsin’s 100th Rustic Road stretches 13.5 miles from the Michigan border along County G, continuing south on County H to County J in Mercer.
This paved route showcases a stunning landscape filled with lakes (Owl Lake, Oak Lake, Virgin Lake, Long Lake, Clear Lake, Oxbox Lake, Spider Lake and Echo Lake), waterways, and vibrant wildflowers, while wildlife like deer and even wolves roam the surrounding forests.
Adding to its historical charm, the road follows part of the legendary Flambeau Trail, once the primary transportation route for Native Americans in the region.
