Tigerton Area Historical Society

The Tigerton Area Historical Society, established in 1976, covers Tigerton and surrounding townships. Affiliated with the Wisconsin Historical Society, it’s housed in a former church, with the 1890 Fairbanks Town Hall, a bandstand, and a pioneer log cabin added in the 1990s.
Exhibits showcase period settings like a schoolroom, parlor, and kitchen, along with displays of toys, clothing, farm tools, and power equipment. The Fairbanks Town Hall features Rural Democracy from Territory to Town. Theme exhibits change bi-annually, and the society is open many afternoons from May through June.
